Study of the efficacy functions of experimental vaccines against coronavirus infections in animal models

Identification code: FW03010472

Expected finish of the project: 2025

The project aims to establish a research and development platform for experimental vaccines against coronavirus infections, especially focusing on COVID2, the causative agent of COVID19. As part of the project, variant experimental vaccines against COVID19 will be prepared and tested. Then their effectiveness and safety will be verified on animal models. The aim of the project is to build a pilot plant and a proven technology for the preparation of candidate coronavirus vaccines and to verify their effectiveness and safety with the minimization of possible risks of adverse reactions. This research and development platform for vaccine candidate selection, based on mathematical models of confirmed efficacy functions, could also be used in the event of another threat of a viral pandemic.
