The main goal of the project is to implement a product innovation in the field of bacteriophage preparations by introducing a stable lyophilized form of phage lysates into serial production. This new form will significantly extend shelf life, simplify storage, and enable logistics and distribution without reliance on the cold chain. Building on technology already successfully validated by MB PHARMA at pilot scale, the project focuses on its full-scale industrial deployment. Transforming current liquid formulations into powder lyophilizates will ensure greater resistance to external conditions while maintaining full biological activity. Additionally, the project aims to significantly increase production capacity by acquiring new technological equipment, boosting batch volume from 20 liters up to 150 liters, thereby improving production efficiency, reducing unit costs, and strengthening the company’s ability to meet the growing market demand for advanced phage-based products.
